Haute Couture Reinterpretation

 Inspired byart history in 19th century Europe and Haute Couture exhibitions, all design of works projects an expressive and personal view on thischosen topic. Symbols, dressing styles, and accessories in 19th century Europe arereferenced, especially the artistic achievement of the Baroque Age. The method of deconstruction is largely used to redefine materials andreference images in the design process. There are four pieces included in the final series, which are a ring, acollar, and two brooches. The materials include leather fabric (PU), sterlingsilver, pearls, colorful beads, and findings, with techniques applied such ascasting, silversmithing, pattern making, beading, and sewing. The final piecesshow a combination of jewellery (metal) work and textile (beading) work.
